This qualification provides learners with the skills and knowledge needed to manage practice and lead health and social care provision, which cover a range of topics, including: 1-safeguarding and protection 2-managing care services, change 3-programmes and recruitment 4-supporting development and partnership working 5- quality systems and improvement 6-developing and carrying out policy 7-promoting and developing best practice 8-care management.
Work place implementation: Learners will need to be working in the role of Deputy or Manager in an appropriate setting, or have the opportunity to carry out responsibilities associated with these roles, to be able to study for the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England)
